How to create a customer account on Skedisy?

  1. Download the Skedisy Customer App by scanning the QR code above.
  2. Open the app and tap Sign Up.
  3. Fill in your details and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Verify your phone number or email as prompted.

How to create a salon owner account?

  1. Download the Skedisy Customer App and sign up as a customer first.
  2. Go to the Profile section and select Register your salon.
  3. Fill in your salon details and specify the number of experts (staff) you want to add.
  4. Once approved, you will receive credentials for your expert(s).

How does an expert get their credentials?

The salon owner creates expert accounts during salon registration. Each expert receives their login credentials from the salon owner.

How to download the app?

Simply scan the QR code above with your phone’s camera. You will be redirected to the download page for the app.

What is the difference between the Customer and Expert app?

  • Customer App: For booking appointments, managing your profile, and accessing salon services.
  • Expert App: For salon staff/owners to manage bookings, schedules, and client information.

How does a customer book a service from a salon on the customer app?

Booking from a Salon:

  1. Find a Salon: Open the Skedisy Customer App and browse salons by searching, browsing categories, or viewing nearby salons on the map.
  2. Select Services: Tap on a salon to view its profile. Browse available services, tap on a service to view details (duration, price, description), and tap "Add" to add it to your booking. You can add multiple services.
  3. Choose Your Expert: View available experts/staff with their photos, bios, ratings, and specializations. Select your preferred expert or choose "Any Available Expert" if you don't have a preference.
  4. Select Date & Time: View the calendar and select your preferred date. Available time slots are shown by time of day (Morning, Afternoon, Evening). Green slots are available, gray slots are not. Select an available time slot.
  5. Review & Confirm: Review all booking details including salon name, services, expert, date, time, and total amount (including tax). Confirm all details are correct.
  6. Payment: Select your payment method (Wallet, Credit/Debit Card, UPI/Digital Wallets, or Cash on arrival if enabled). Enter payment details if needed, then tap "Confirm Booking".
  7. Booking Confirmation: You'll receive a booking confirmation with a booking ID, SMS/Email confirmation, and the booking will appear in "My Bookings". You'll also receive a reminder before your appointment.

Booking from an Expert (Top Experts):

  1. Find an Expert: Browse the "Top Experts" section or search for a specific expert by name.
  2. View Expert Profile: Tap on an expert to see their profile, including their salon affiliation, services they offer, ratings, reviews, and availability.
  3. Select Services: Choose the services you want from the expert's available services list.
  4. Select Date & Time: The expert's salon information will be displayed. Select your preferred date and available time slot for that expert.
  5. Review & Confirm: Review booking details including expert name, salon location, services, date, time, and total amount.
  6. Payment: Complete payment using your preferred method.
  7. Booking Confirmation: Receive confirmation and booking details as above.

Managing Your Booking:

  • View your bookings in "My Bookings" with tabs for Pending, Confirmed, Completed, and Cancelled.
  • You can get directions to the salon, call the salon, view booking receipt, or cancel the appointment (if eligible).
  • To cancel: Open the booking from "My Bookings", tap "Cancel Appointment", select a reason, and confirm. Refund will be processed according to the salon's cancellation policy.

How can an expert accept or refuse a reservation on the expert app?

Viewing Reservations:

  1. Open the Skedisy Expert App and log in with your credentials.
  2. Navigate to the "Bookings" section from the main menu or dashboard.
  3. View bookings organized by status: Pending (awaiting your response), Confirmed (accepted bookings), Completed (past appointments), and Cancelled.
  4. Filter bookings by date to see today's appointments, upcoming bookings, or past appointments.

Accepting a Reservation:

  1. Open a Pending booking from your bookings list.
  2. Review the booking details:
    • Customer name and contact information
    • Services requested
    • Date and time of appointment
    • Total amount
    • Payment status
    • Any special requests or notes
  3. Verify your availability for the requested date and time.
  4. Tap the "Accept" or "Confirm" button.
  5. The booking status will change to "Confirmed".
  6. The customer will receive a notification confirming the booking.
  7. The appointment will appear in your confirmed bookings calendar.

Refusing/Declining a Reservation:

  1. Open a Pending booking that you need to decline.
  2. Review the booking details to ensure you cannot accommodate it.
  3. Tap the "Decline" or "Refuse" button.
  4. You may be asked to provide a reason for declining (optional in some cases).
  5. The booking status will change to "Cancelled".
  6. The customer will receive a notification that the booking was declined.
  7. If payment was made, a refund will be processed automatically according to the platform's refund policy.

Additional Booking Management:

  • Check-In: When the customer arrives, mark them as checked in using the "Check-In" button. This records the arrival time.
  • Complete Booking: After the service is completed, tap "Complete Booking" or "Check-Out" to finalize the appointment. This records the completion time.
  • Payment Handling: If the customer selected "Cash on arrival", you can mark the payment as received after the service is completed.
  • View Booking History: Access your booking history to view all past appointments, earnings, and customer information.

Important Notes:

  • Respond to pending bookings promptly to maintain good customer relations.
  • Only accept bookings you can actually fulfill to avoid cancellations later.
  • Declining too many bookings may affect your expert rating and visibility.
  • Always check your schedule before accepting to avoid double bookings.

How can a salon owner add a new expert, add services, and manage their business on the business owner platform?

Adding a New Expert:

  1. Log in to the Skedisy Business Owner Platform (Salon Portal) using your salon owner credentials.
  2. Navigate to the "Experts" or "Staff Management" section from the main menu or dashboard.
  3. Click on "Add New Expert" or "Add Staff Member" button.
  4. Fill in the expert's information:
    • First name and last name
    • Email address
    • Mobile/Phone number
    • Age and gender
    • Upload expert photo
    • Set commission percentage (if applicable)
    • Create login password (or system will generate one)
  5. Assign Services: Select which services this expert can provide from your salon's service list. You can assign multiple services.
  6. Click "Save" or "Create Expert" to complete the registration.
  7. The system will generate unique credentials (Expert ID and password) for the expert.
  8. Share the login credentials with your expert so they can access the Expert App.
  9. The expert will appear in your experts list and can start receiving bookings.

Adding Services:

  1. Log in to the Business Owner Platform and navigate to "Services" or "Service Management".
  2. Click on "Add New Service" or "Create Service".
  3. Fill in the service details:
    • Service Name: Enter a clear, descriptive name (e.g., "Haircut", "Manicure", "Facial Treatment")
    • Service Category: Select the appropriate category (Hair Services, Nail Services, Facial & Skin Care, Spa & Massage, etc.)
    • Description: Add a detailed description of what the service includes
    • Duration: Set the service duration in minutes
    • Price: Enter the service price (before tax)
    • Service Image: Upload a photo representing the service
    • Availability: Set whether the service is currently available or temporarily unavailable
  4. Assign to Experts: Select which experts can provide this service (optional - you can assign later)
  5. Configure additional settings:
    • Service prerequisites (if any)
    • Cancellation policy for this service
    • Service add-ons or extras (if applicable)
  6. Click "Save" or "Create Service" to add it to your salon's service list.
  7. The service will now be visible to customers when they browse your salon.
